It’s Summer break and all 4 of my  kids are home and wanting something fun to do since its so HOT outside.  So, today we attempted to make our very own Gooey oil-infused SLIME! The kids each picked out there very own oily scents and of course I  wanted to make one too, so I chose Stressaway oil! Making the SLIME was easier then we imagined and a super fun activity for the kids to make and re-create again for another time! This defiantly will keep the kids busy for hours and is very easy on the wallet.

The DIY Essential oil SLIME is made with no Borox or liquid starch, so I do not need to worry about the ingredients in the Slime. When adding essential oils to the slime, We are infusing it also with  calming and soothing aromas which make it perfect for my family! It is also a great way to help my little ones focus and enjoy the sensory benefits of the gooey Slime between their fingers.

Some essential oils we have enjoyed using:

Orange, Lime, Lemon, Joy, Stressaway, Peace& Calming.

Ingredients:

*Baking Soda -1 teaspoon

*3-5 drops of Young Living oil of your choice

*Elmer’s glue white or Elmer’s glitter glue

*Contact Lens  solution

Also a glass bowl, plastic spoon , and a airtight storage container.

Directions:

*Pour desired amount of glue in bowl . I use around 4ounces +/-

If you use white Elmer’s glue you can add some food color to it of your choosing. 2-3 drops.

*Add Baking Soda and mix with spoon

*Squeeze contact lens until the glue has clumped together and doesn’t stick to the bowl.

*ADD essential oil drops and kneed together with your hands.

Hope you all enjoyed my blog today and have lots of  fun making your very own gooey oil-infused SLIME!
