Today I’m going to discuss dishwasher powder. We have been using the Young Living Thieves-automatic dishwasher powder for a couple of months now. Of course we should have switched a long time ago, but bad habits are very hard to break. Products that contain chemicals like Cascade are very easy to come by at Walmart or the grocery store. Once you find out about all the chemicals that you saturate yourself in daily, it’s a no brainer to try something that is essentially better and healthier! So far the results of using Young Living dishwasher powder have been successful. We have tweaked it a little bit by adding some baking soda to the half scoop of thieves powder. This allows you to use less thieves powder which in turn will cause your product to last 2x longer. We also filled our dishwasher rinse aid reservoir (Jet dry reservoir) with Thieves Household cleaner to give them a sparkle. Have you even wondered what chemicals are used in the store bought dishwasher powder  to make them shine? What ever is causing the glasses to shine is more than likely not good since it is basically staying on the glass to reflect the shine. When using Young Living Dishwasher Powder we use about a half a scoop from the scoop provided and same half scoop of baking soda. We are a family of six and the dishwasher is used a lot so stretching the products saves us money. The beauty of Young Living is that every product is super concentrated so you can multiple and have more! Next blog I’ll share about dishwashing soap.  So right now we are trying to get everyone to use the same cups all day, any suggestions?

If you are curious to know the chemicals in common store bought  dishwasher soaps just google it and you will have many results.

So in short if you want Non- toxic and clean dishes to eat and drink from!( Win for my family!) follow directions below:

1/2 scoop Thieves dishwasher powder

1/2 scoop Baking Soda

Thieves Household cleaner in the Jet DRY! Simply and Easy!

Thank you for your time and more is to come, Natalie.
